Final Call: NEPHIP Host Site Applications for Summer 2026
Strengthen your environmental public health program with hands-on help. This is your opportunity to be a host site for NEHA's Summer 2026 National Environmental Public Health Internship Program (NEPHIP) internship session. Local, state, tribal, and territorial environmental public health (EPH) programs are encouraged to apply by February 1 for priority consideration.
Hosting a NEPHIP intern provides meaningful short-term support that advances critical environmental public health initiatives while investing in the next generation of professionals.
What You Get
- 400 hours of dedicated environmental health support from undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in EHAC-accredited programs
- Guidance and administrative support from NEHA
- Access to up to $1,500 in reimbursement for internship-related costs
Past Projects Include
Environmental needs assessments, GIS mapping, community engagement initiatives, story map development, policy research support, and more.
